At the meeting, Chairman Xu Guowu gave the report on the current situation of the company’s agricultural development in Laos in recent years, the difficulties it faces and its future plans. The participants exchanged views on the current agricultural situation in Laos and how the three parties accelerate the development of agricultural cooperation and put forward suggestions.

Xu Guowu said that the tripartite cooperation can not only help improve the output and quality of rice in Laos, but also promote the cooperation in agricultural science and technology between Laos and Hunan province， as well as enhance the development of agricultural science and technology in both places. At present,. the tripartite cooperation agreement has been signed under the witness of Laos Deputy Minister of Buang Barisa and Hunan’s Standing Committee Zhang Jianfei. in Laos. This is the first successful step and is of great significance and responsibility. This meeting and discussion is not only a welcome meeting for Lao agricultural experts who attend training and exchange in Hunan, but also a farewell meeting for Hunan agricultural experts to officially enter Laos.
