On April 11, the Lancang River - Mekong River Cooperative Village Head Forum jointly organized by The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government opened in Mangshi, Yunnan. Zhang Zhongqiu, Chief Veterinary Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered a speech. Benkuang Khanbenham, Lao Deputy Minister of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and U Khin Joo, Burma Permanent Secretary of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation (Deputy Minister) attended the forum. Nearly 300 representatives of government departments, villages/cooperatives and relevant international organizations from China, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Thailand and Vietnam discussed “the joint promotion of rural revitalization through cooperation, innovation and win-win situation”. Chairman Xu Guowu and the Vice Chairman Xu Xiuqing of the company were invited to attend this forum. The original ecological, pure, natural and pollution-free LAND LAO series rice featured in original ecological Lao fragrant rice, glutinous rice, black glutinous rice and other high-quality agricultural products planted and sold by the company in Laos have attracted extensive attention of participants from various countries.
