Beijing March 23 (Rednet) (Chen Jiao, correspondent; Liu Yibin, reporter) - Oli, Nepalese Prime Minister, who is paying an official visit in Beijing received Dr. Wang Tong, Chairman of CGEF (China Green Energy Development Fund Management Committee), at Nepalese Embassy in China in the afternoon on March 22. Both sides had a friendly discussion about better implementation of the Belt and Road cooperation matters. Xu Guowu, Chairman of Hunan Xuanye Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. (a member of CGEF) and Deputy Secretary General of CGEF, was present. Both sides agreed that Hunan Xuanye will organize many excellent enterprises in China to pay a trip to Nepal for survey on project investment

Oli expressed that Nepal hopes for further cooperation with China in eco-agricultural industry. He also expressed a hope for active involvement in the Belt and Road construction.

Hunan Xuanye Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. is one of the key  “going global” enterprises for international cooperation projects of Hunan in foreign countries, taking advantages of production, technology and market in growing, purchasing, processing and sales of cereals and other commercial crops as well as investment in agricultural projects and development of agricultural technology. Hunan Xuanye is a representative of successful cases of the Belt and Road.

Chairman Xu Guowu said that China and Nepal are traditionally friendly neighboring countries who are in a very important stage of frequent communication and deep cooperation. In recent years, investment environment in Nepal has been being improved, which provides an important opportunity for Hunan Xuanye to speed up its pace of going globally. Hunan Xuanye looks ahead at the whole globe to lay out eco-agricultural industry to respond in an active manner to China’s Belt and Road Strategy. After Laotian rice first came to China in January 2016, another important strategic deployment of Hunan Xuanye “going global”and “bringing back” is to cooperate with Nepal in relevant areas. By doing so, Hunan Xuanye hopes to make contributions to bilateral relations between China and Nepal.
