On the 7th of December, the first train carrying Laos-planted bananas departed from the south station of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, to Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province of China.

This train carries 25 refrigerated railway containers and 500 tons of fresh bananas from Laos. This "point-to-point" train, which connects directly to Chinese cities, was launched on the operational anniversary of the China-Laos Railway. Meanwhile, the designated supervision site for fruit entering China Mohan Railway Port was implemented. It is also the first agricultural product train since Hunan Province, and Laos jointly built the "One Road, Two Parks" project.

on November 24, the freight train is entering the Friendship Tunnel on the China-Laos border.

The People's Government of Hunan Province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos signed a memorandum of cooperation on the "One Road, Two Parks" project in August this year. Both sides will take the China-Laos Railway as the channel to jointly build the Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Vientiane City and some other relevant industrial parks in Hunan Province to comprehensively strengthen agricultural cooperation and economic and trade exchanges, striving to achieve an annual average goal of more than 1 million tons of agricultural products import and export between Laos and Hunan during the agreement period.

The launching ceremony of the train was held in Vientiane on November 5th. According to the introduction of Laos China Railway Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the operation of the Laos section, the China Laos Railway will continue to support the export of Laos' characteristic agricultural products to China, and it is expected to ship more than two relevant trains every week.
