This batch of agricultural machinery and equipment is shipped from Huaihua International Inland Port.

On November 26, a total of 12 TEUs of agricultural machinery and equipment donated by the People's Government of Hunan Province to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos were loaded and shipped in the customs supervision area of Huaihua International Inland Port and driven to Vientiane, Laos. The equipment donated this time is Zoomlion's whole process mechanized high-end rice agricultural machinery, mainly including rotary tiller, rice seedling thrower, growing seedling machine, disk plow, and rice machine.

On August 26, 2022, the People's Government of Hunan Province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos signed a memorandum of cooperation on the "One Road, Two Parks" project. They held a donation ceremony for agricultural machinery and equipment. Through the joint efforts of all parties, this batch of agricultural machinery and equipment arrived in Huaihua in mid-November, and the Luhai New Channel Operation (Hunan) Co., Ltd. was responsible for the delivery of the train. Huaihua Customs has set up a green passage for customs clearance to handle customs transfer formalities for the first time to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of this batch of equipment to arrive in Laos.

The donated agricultural machinery and equipment totaled 12 TEUs and 9 kinds of equipment.

The "One Road, Two Parks" project is led by the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, coordinated by the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hunan Province, and jointly planned and promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos. It aims to give the role of the China Laos Railway and its extension line the channel of the "One Road," jointly build the "Two Parks" of Vientiane Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Laos and related industrial parks in Hunan Province, also create a new pattern of economic cooperation between Laos and Hunan.

According to the content of the memorandum of cooperation, the project connects domestic and foreign parks and production bases, cultivates new industrial clusters, helps Laos' high-quality agricultural products enter the Chinese market, and promotes the export of Hunan products from Hunan. At the same time, both sides will further enhance international cooperation in agricultural scientific research and technology, provide new scientific research technology and technical personnel supporting for agricultural development of both sides, and helps Laos develop modern agriculture.

Huaihua International Inland Port, as the only freight hub connecting with ASEAN in Hunan Province, currently has a total of 125 lines, including 94 rail and sea intermodal lines, 27 China-Laos lines, and 4 China-Vietnam lines, which have actively built a strong bridge connecting Hunan with ASEAN.
