On the morning of August 26, the signing ceremony of the memorandum of cooperation and the donation ceremony of agricultural machinery and equipment between the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for the "One Road, Two Parks" project was held simultaneously in Changsha and Vientiane, Laos, via video connection. Mr. Mao Weiming, Deputy Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hunan Province, and Mr. Phet PHOMPHIPHAK, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos, made a video speech. Ms. Khamphao ERNTHAVANH, Ambassador of Laos to China, attended the ceremony. Mr. Gong Xiaobo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, participated in the signing ceremony.

The "One Road, Two Parks" project is led by the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, coordinated by the Foreign Affairs Office and the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and jointly planned and promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos. Previously, the Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the "One Road, Two Parks" project with Hunan Jinxia Development Group and Hunan Xuanye Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd., which Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone manages, based on the modern agricultural, industrial park in Vientiane, Laos, to connect with Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone, jointly build an international economic and trade platform connecting China and Laos and even ASEAN, and promote the construction of a new pattern of economic cooperation between Hunan and Laos.

In the afternoon of the 26th, after the signing ceremony, Ambassador Khamphao ERNTHAVANH and her delegation visited the Group, called the Jinxia Grain and Oil Food Logistics Park, inspected the particular railway line, photovoltaic power generation project, six 2000-ton berths in the port logistics processing area, the Xiangliang International Project, and the Cultural Center, and had discussions and exchanges.

At the meeting, the delegation watched the whole industrial chain of grain, oil, and food, pig breeding, and digital construction of the Group and expressed high appreciation for the Group's industrial development.

Ms. Khamphao ERNTHAVANH said that through this visit, she had greater confidence in the future cooperation with the Agricultural Development Group. At the same time, she believed that the strategic cooperation agreement of "One Road, Two Parks" signed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos and the Hunan Provincial Government could promote friendly cooperation between both sides, build a food security barrier, and make new contributions to the economic development and poverty alleviation of Laos.
