Laotian government and a Chinese enterprise discussed to build up a modern agricultural industry park

Vientiane, April 25, Xinhua News Agency (reporter – Zhang Jianhua) – Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos signed a memo of understanding (MOU) with Xuanye (Laos) Co., Ltd., a Chinese enterprise, and AVIC International Beijing Co., Ltd. for jointly building up a modern ecological agricultural industry park in Laos.

The modern ecological agricultural industry park in Laos involved in the MOU is located in Vientiane, close to the China-Laos Railway under construction. According to the introduction by Xuanye Co., this agricultural industry park will become a regional platform for trading, storage and logistics of agricultural products with reliance on the China-Laos Railway under construction

After signing, relevant parties would start preliminary cooperation and investigation in terms of orientation and direction of the industry park and did special research on and made a proposal for the use of Chinese technology of agricultural machine in modern agriculture in Laos, the demands on Chinese markets for organic ecological agricultural products of Laos, exchange of agricultural talents, and innovation and cooperation of agricultural technology.
