On August 26, the signing ceremony of the memorandum of cooperation between the People's Government of Hunan Province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos on the "One Road, Two Parks" project and the donation ceremony of agricultural machinery equipment were held simultaneously in Changsha, China and Vientiane, Laos, via video connection. The main products donated this time are rice transplanters, new paddy tractors, rice combine harvesters, and other products. In the early stage of the project, it will focus on the experiment and scientific research, standardization, and promotion of the whole-process mechanization of rice planting. In the future, it will introduce more agricultural automation, intelligent agricultural technology, and products to Laos in a planned and step-by-step manner. It is committed to supporting and assisting Laos to achieve agricultural science and technology curve overtaking.

 It is understood that to effectively improve the local agricultural production efficiency, improve the agronomic level and promote the development of the agricultural industry, Zoomlion has sent two agricultural technical expert teams to Laos to carry out field research on its rice planting agronomy and harvesting operation conditions, and has conducted many discussions and consultations with the Lao Academy of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, a subsidiary of the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Finally, Zoomlion decided to introduce the mechanical seedling throwing project and technology pioneered in the world to Laos to innovate its traditional rice planting mode. Guided by the mechanization and standardization of the planting process, we will build a new model of whole-process industrialization of rice suitable for Laos and help Laos transform and upgrade its agriculture efficiently, economically, and sustainably.

The donated equipment is highly targeted and well-adapted to agricultural production in Laos. Taking the rice orderly seedling thrower as an example, this is a brand-new product developed by Zoomlion six years. It uses the newly developed seedling thrower technology, breaks through the inherent transplanting method, overcomes the difficulties of seedling raising, slow rejuvenation, and late tillering, and can help farmers increase production and income. The RV series paddy field tractor is a new product developed and produced for the Southeast Asian market and the South China market. Its body is light, and it is not easy to get stuck in the car. At the same time, the ultra-high ground clearance allows it to easily cross the fields, with a small turning radius and light and sensitive control.

The "One Road, Two Parks" international economic and trade cooperation platform project of the China Laos Railway is to take the China Laos Railway as the industrial chain, fully develop the agricultural product market and agricultural resources in Laos, and create a China Laos in-depth economic and trade exchange route of "agricultural products into China, industrial products into Laos". This donation of agricultural machinery and equipment is also one of the landmark projects to promote the cooperation between Hunan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos.

After the arrival of the donated equipment, Zoomlion will also send a technical and service team to take root in Laos for a long time to guide and track the whole process of rice planting, effectively implement the new mode of rice whole-process mechanization, and train a batch of new agricultural talents for Laos.
